What is the BAND app?

The BAND app is a free mobile platform designed to help organizations like ours stay connected and organized. It offers various features such as group messaging, shared calendars, sign-ups, and file sharing, allowing parents to communicate, collaborate, and coordinate activities effectively. Whether it's organizing events or sharing important information, the BAND app provides a user-friendly solution for parents to stay updated on our band’s activities and stay involved in our band’s community.

How do I use the BAND app?

The BAND app can be accessed from your web browser on your computer or on your phone, and is available on both the App Store and Google Play. To get started, join the SSHS Band Parents group and set up your profile (please use your first and last name, and put your student’s name in the “role” field.) Once your join request is approved, you can message in the public group chat, access our calendar, or make comments on posts made by administrators.

You can edit your profile by clicking on the gear icon in the corner of your screen and then clicking on “My Settings.” You can also turn on Push notifications in this screen to get receive updates as soon as we post them!
